3 months and 25 days...and a big day at the Vet.

The wonderful folks the Animal Care Clinic www.animalcareclinic.net  treat us very well. Today was Grace and Bailey's  last puppy appointment! We are finally all up to date on shots. Bailey weighs 27.8 pounds, Grace weighs 26.8. Grace was the bigger one, but Bailey has caught up in a couple of weeks time...must be the peas we've been adding to their food:) Both are losing teeth like healthy pups, and growing like weeds! They love Dr. Butch Schroyer, and I think by the looks of these pics, he's pretty smitten with them, too:-)

After the vet, the girls spent their first afternoon apart. Bailey went home with Tabitha, and I took Grace to work. One of my coworkers, Marilynn, took this photo of Grace checking herself out in a mirror.

In Loving Memory of Zola and Max, 2010

Zola and Max were both amazing dogs. Zola was born Oct 3rd, 2009, and was a little over a year old when she died. We rescued Max and only had him for a very short three months. They loved each other so much, but nothing compared to the love they gave us while they were here. We miss them terribly. While our girls, Grace and Bailey, have filled our lives more than ever thought possible, we will always hold a special place in our hearts for Max and Zola. They are, after all, why we fell in love with doodles in the first place.

Puppy Daycare

Grace and Bailey have been going to daycare once a week for socialization. I have to say this is the BEST money every spent.. .they get to meet other dogs and play to their hearts content! Here's the place - it's awesome! www.uptownhounds.com. Here's a pic of the girls coming home yesterday after a full day of romping with playmates. Grace is on the left, she would cock her head everytime I would say, "Who wants to go home?" So cute!
